      What’s not to love about this Oklahoma State BYU matchup? Scores and odds is giving me OkSt +8.5 and I’ll take it. BYU has covered every game this year so the are bound to end the streak sometime. As a former BYU student myself, I’m happy to root against them in a total generate late night game while the rest of Ohio is watching the Guardians. It worked for me last night anyway, until Frowns came home in the 7th inning. BYU only averages 4 more points per game than OkSt and OkSt opponents average 7 fewer points than BYU has averaged so when you keep adding up numbers you can pretend they mean something.

    Essay - Indy -3 over Miami

    Miami with Tua is maybe an 8-9 or 9-8 team. Miami without Tua is a bottom-five outfit. The league has figured out Mike McDaniel, especially since he's starting either a guy the Browns cut (Tyler Huntley) or a guy named Skylar. (His mom must have loved hair metal bands). Either way, the Dolphins are an uninspiring bunch.

    The Colts on the other hand, are a sneaky fun team that's been on a roll of late. The Colts have harnessed Flacco Magic the last few weeks, but will bring Anthony Richardson back against a poor Dolphins' run defense. I think either QB wins it this week. On a side note, isn't it fascinating that the Colts front office and/or Richardson weren't worried about bringing in Flacco. Guess the young QB has thicker skin than Deshaun.

    Anyway, I'll throw in Indy's solid 5-1 ATS against the Dolphins' sorry 1-4 ATS.

The Exec. Comm. brings good tidings to all for Christmas, the holidays, and this final week of the regular season, the last day of which is Monday, 12/30, with a mandatory playoff pick due on 12/31 for Penn State at Boise State as well as other discretionary college games available on 12/31 (final format TBA).  This week we've got Packers @ Vikings for the all play. For Wednesday and Thursday's games, the lines are as follows: Chiefs -2.5 at Steelers; Ravens -5.5 at Texans; Seahawks -3.5 at Bears; Pitt -7 v. Toledo; Rutgers +7 v. Kansas State; and Arkansas State +8.5 v. Bowling Green.  The rest of the college lines are here , and NFL lines  here .  Please make sure to check back in on Monday or Tuesday morning for the final playoff format. Cheddar Bay Playoffs Week 1

Congrats to the survivors. Now is where the rubber meets the road. The format for Week 1 of the playoffs is as follows, with TEN picks due in total: 1) Everyone must pick all 4 of the college playoff games: 12/31, Penn State @ Boise; 1/1, Texas @ Arizona State; Ohio State @ Oregon; and Notre Dame @ Georgia.  2) Everyone must pick 2 of the remaining bowl games taking place between 12/31 and 1/4.  3) Everyone must pick the following 4 NFL games: 1/4: Bengals (-2.5) at Steelers; 1/5: Bills (-3.5) at Patriots (!!!); Dolphins (+0.5) at Jets; and Vikings (+3) at Lions.  All picks for this week are worth 2 points each, with the essay worth a lucky 7 points. Picks may be submitted piecemeal this week but ALL PICKS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONE HOUR BEFORE KICKOFF. This week's picks are to be posted directly in the thread due to the unlikelihood of any gamesmanship being successful. The following weeks you'll have the option of emailing your picks to the Exec.
