Week 14: It's Thanksgiving on the Bay! (Ohio State -20.5 v. Michigan - Big Noon Saturday)

Image
Happy Thanksgiving folks! After vigorous dispute within the Exec. Comm. we've settled on beating a dead Schembechler and sticking with "the game" for the all play this week. The Buckeyes are laying nearly 3 touchdowns at home vs. the defending national champs and 2004 Big Ten co-champs.  The rest of this week's college lines are  here ; the NFL lines are  here ; Tuesday's MACtion lines remain below for posterity; and the Exec. Comm. is wishing all a joyous holiday weekend of food, family, friends, and football voting. We're as grateful as ever for the fine football fellowship here on the Bay.

Week 13: Indiana U. (+12) at The Ohio State (Big Noon Saturday)

As noted, the Exec. Comm. called the All Play early this week given all the extremely consequential early week MACtion and yes, it was not a good sign for the Golden Flashes that the local paper's rivalry week feature was about how the safety for their winless team racked up 18 tackles in a 40 - 0 loss . Who could have guessed. Anyway, this will mark the first time that Indiana University football has garnered Cheddar Bay all play status, with the line down to 12 from 13.5 on Tuesday.  Some big questions to be answered this week, folks. The early week MACtion lines remain posted below for posterity, the rest of the college lines are here , the NFL lines are here , and the Exec. Comm. is, as always, wishing all a warm and enlightening weekend of football voting.

Week 12: Ravens -3.5 at Steelers (Sunday at 1PM)

This week the Exec. Comm. rejects the NFL's relentless shoving of their coverboy QBs down our throats in favour of the league's best rivalry, two AFC North teams who'd never dream of playing their home games under a roof. Ravens are laying 3.5 in Pittsburgh for this Week's All Play on Sunday at 1PM.   The rest of this week's NFL lines are here ; the college lines are here ; and the Exec. Comm. is, once again, as always, wishing all a safe and blessed football voting weekend.

Week 11: Alabama (-2.5) at LSU

The 12-team "college" football playoff means more "high stakes" games between two-loss teams in November, we're told.  Better than anything else on the slate this week anyway, The Exec. Comm. supposes, though Lions -3.5 at Texans on Sunday night was tempting. Quite a ride some of you have been on with those Motor City Kitties, we've noticed. Essay of the Week last week goes to Old Frowner, however, for nailing Chargers -1 at Browns, with Mayoral Notarial and Capital GG a close second with Oregon -14.5 at Michigan. As a wise man once said, "gotta get the easy ones."  The rest of the college lines are here , the NFL lines are here , and the Exec. Comm. is, as always, wishing all a most blessed football voting weekend.
