Cheddar Bay Reality Football

Alright folks the playoff field has been set and today's contests are open for the picking pursuant to the format set forth below.  But first, congrats to our 2023 playoff field, who, by the Exec. Comm's. calculations (please feel free to check our math), consist of the following, including a tie for eighth place, who will compete in sudden-death until one prevails over the other in a round (presumably this first round given the large number of picks to be made, but stranger things have happened):  1. Our regular season champion, Agnes (whose prize is a 3+ point lead over the rest of the playoff field plus eternal glory); 2. SqueekyClean; 3. It's Christmastime on the Bay, the AFC's #1 seed is still in play for the Cleveland Browns, and it is most certainly quite a time to be alive. The 2023-24 Cheddar Bay regular season will end with our all play on Christmas night in San Francisco with the Ravens squaring off against the Niners. We're shuffling off to Buffalo for the all play this week, Cowboys +1.5 over the Bills.  For Thursday Night Football AKA the Easton Stick show we have [had] Raiders -3 over Chargers.  As for the rest, the lines for Saturday's and Monday's NCAA bowl games (which are the ones in play for this week) are here , here are the lines for the rest of the weekend's NFL action, which also includes a Saturday slate, and the current standings are here . As with all regular season weeks, you need to get at least one college vote in. Finally, remember, NEXT WEEK is the LAST week of the regular season so now's the time to expend those unused POTYs and make your playoff push. Godspeed all!

No need for a PDF, this week's only college game (perforce the All Play) is 5-6 Navy at 5-6 Army, Saturday at 3 PM.  Here  are this week's NFL lines, and  here  as always are the standings.  A proper playoff post is pending, but for now: the final week of the Cheddar regular season will be our Week 17 (ie Christmas). This will make the first round of the playoffs a bit less of a scramble. Like last year the top eight contenders will make the playoffs (with ties handled by sudden death in the usual fashion). In the meantime, anyone who has not yet used their POTY should make sure to do so!
